Your spaced-repetition state, attempted code, theme preference, and review log are stored in your own browser's localStorage under keys prefixed eml:. They never leave your device. There is no account, no login, no sync. If you clear your browser data, your progress is gone — there is no backup on our side.

If you accept the consent banner, we use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the site is used. This drops a small number of cookies (notably _ga and _ga_*) and assigns a pseudonymous device identifier. We use it to log:

• Page views (which screens get used)
• Quiz events (which mode, which item, rating given, time of day)
• Approximate location (country / region / city, derived from IP) and the device's timezone
• Anonymous device info (browser, OS, screen size)

We do notcollect your name, email, IP address beyond what Google's automatic geolocation derives, or any information that directly identifies you. We do not sell data and we do not run ads.

Lawful basis (GDPR): consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time using the button below.

Retention: Firebase Analytics retains event data for up to 14 months by default, after which it is aggregated or deleted by Google.

If you are in the EU/UK, you have the right under GDPR / UK GDPR to: access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your data; data portability; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact support@discovolantelabs.com.

Because we don't have accounts, the data we hold about you is limited to what Firebase Analytics records against a pseudonymous device ID. Withdrawing consent and clearing your browser data is the most effective way to remove it.
